                   "poem" 

 Dear Child,
-Come sit next to me, and I shall tell you
about many things you'll come to see.
-I'm not here to just get in your way.
-I'm just making sure you don't have hell to pay
-It's ok to be a little wild,
but remember it's better to be mild.
-Listen not to those who would speak of hate,
or bring you an ill-willed fate.
-For your sake, your life is yours to make.
-Some day you will learn about the birds and the bees,
and the bills and the fees.
-Some things may seem like bliss, but it all begins
with a kiss, and soon your childhood you will miss.
-Don't ask me why or how,
just listen to what I say for now.
-To those who would wear beauties mask,
they shall find that time will make it an endless
task.
-For vanity's fate, is to fill the soul with
jealousy and hate.
-Accept the gift that is you, and don't worry so
much about the view.
-Belittle me not,for your mind shall surely rot.
-Steer clear of deceit, for it shall only bring you
defeat.
-If one shall lie to you, then may they keep it,
to keep it true.
-For the truth shall come easy to the mind,
and a lie shall keep it in a bind.
-Never climb higher than your willing to fall from,
or sell your soul for any sum.
-Greed shall carry you to the sky, and drop you
as if you could fly.
-Upon the ground your soul shall shatter,
and maybe then you'll learn what really matters.
-An adult shall stand with a firm hand, to
keep chaos from the land.
-A child by design, shall push the line.
-It's not their fault, that they want to be an adult.
-Their whole goal, is to play their parents role.
-When they are ready to know, you better be ready to
teach or show.
-Know that if you wait, it may end up too late.
-Life can be quite reflective, but a child can
bring a new perspective.
-A child can see beyond the box, that many can only
see the locks.
-The genius of a child is to remind us of forgotten
dreams, and to teach us that life does not always have
to be what it seems.
-Threw the point of a finger and a question why,
the world will change or it will die.
-Peace begins with you, each and every one of you,
not just a few.
